An absence of mountains and forests distinguishes Antigua from the other Leeward Islands. Barbuda, formerly Dulcina, lies 25 miles (40 km) north of Antigua. Barbuda is a flat, coral island with plenty of forest, but no natural streams or lakes. Codrington, located in the west lagoon is Barbuda's largest city.
